About the Role

Dataiku is looking for a Senior Global Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team in our Paris office. The Senior Global Accounts Payable Specialist is primarily responsible for processing vendor records, invoices, expense reports, credit card transactions, and related payments.

This role will participate in vendor maintenance, compliance, AP performance management and analytics.  The Senior AP Specialist will be responsible for global service delivery in all regions including the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.  

 

This person will report to the Senior Global Accounts Payable Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain vendor master records

  • Ensure that invoices are approved in accordance with company policy

  • Enter invoices into Netsuite and ensure that invoices are correctly coded using Company’s chart of accounts and department listing

  • Perform final review of all T&E reports to ensure conformity with the T&E policy

  • Ensure all disbursements are processed completely and promptly using bank payment portals

  • Support reconciliation and analysis of vendor and employee AP sub-ledgers

  • Monitor dedicated AP e-mailbox to make sure all e-mails are answered promptly

  • Bring to the attention of AP management any payment request that may have a questionable Institutional purpose or appears to be suspect or fraudulent

  • Assist Accounting and Planning with any documentation needed for reporting, tax filings and audits

  • Have a strong understanding of accounting and general ledger coding

  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

Requirements    

  • Associate degree in accounting (French equivalent)

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • English language skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Familiarity with large ERP system such as Netsuite 

  • Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills

  • Able to work in a team environment
